Materials

Process Materials

Aluminum:

Aluminum is durable, lightweight, easily machined and formed, and inexpensive compared to brass or stainless steel. We carry a full line of gages from .003"/0.08mm to .125"/3mm

Aluminum Foil:

Alumium foil combines the durability of aluminum with the light weight of a label material. Aluminum foil labels are normally ordered with an adhesive backing material.

Anodized Aluminum:

Anodized aluminum is used in place of standard aluminum in certain standards based applications. Anodized aluminum lasts longer and are impervious to weather, they are frequently used for outdoor applications.

Brass:

Brass plates are usually produced by the acid etching process. The etched portion can then be filled with paint or left blank for a more sophisticated and striking look. We stock brass in gages from .014"/.35mm to .062"/1.6mm.

MetalPhoto®:

MetalPhoto® is a special type of aluminum that can be printed like a piece of paper. The ink becomes part of the metal, which produces a unique and longlasting plate.

Acrylic and Polyester:

We can also supply plates and overlays made from acrylic or polycarbonate. These materials produce an extremely lightweight and flexible product.

Stainless Steel:

It is durable, unusual, and looks striking when etched without fill paint. We stock several gages: .014"/.35mm to .120"/3mm.

Vinyl:

These labels can be fitted to irregular shapes and wrapped around cylinders.
